Michael McHugh has worked in the field of home education for over twenty-five years
with the Christian Liberty Academy School System in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
During his time with the academy, Mr. McHugh has worked as a teacher, extension
school administrator, curriculum director, and textbook author. As a trained
para-legal, he has done extensive research on compulsory education laws
as they relate to home education and has frequently lectured on this topic at
home school conventions. In addition to lecturing on the issue of home schooling
rights and responsibilities, Mr. McHugh has provided expert testimony at major
court cases involving home education on a national level. Mr. McHugh and his wife have seven children, all of whom have been homeschooled. |
