Emily F. Popp, Grade 12

Emily is an eighteen year old senior. She will be attending the
University of Akron in the fall, majoring in graphic design.
Inline speed skating is Emily’s sport of choice. During her
first year of competing, she traveled to several meets in over
four states. Her goal
this year is to place at the Great Lakes Regional Championships
in Nebraska.
In addition to speed skating, Emily is involved in 4-H and enters
her purebred rabbits in four to six shows a year.
Besides caring for about twenty-five rabbits, Emily owns a tokay
gecko,
two leopard geckos, a Jack Dempsey Cichlid, a betta, and a pink
toe tarantula.

Mikkel is sixteen years old and has lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany since
she was eight. She lives with her parents (her father is in the U.S. Air
Force) and her sister Nichole, as well as their dog Klondike and
their cat MoMo.
While living in Germany, she as made friends around the world and has penpals
in Texas, Florida, and Canada. She enjoys writing and drawing, as well
as just spending time with her friends. She writes, “I believe that the
Lord has been very good to me and I am grateful for all that He has done.”

Andrea lives in South Africa with her parents (her dad works for South
African Airways), sister,
brother, and pet dog named Shadow.
Andrea’s hobbies include dancing, swimming, and
doing athletics. In her spare time, she likes to draw different pictures
of people.
One day, she hopes to be an actress. Her mom says that at drama school
they will love her singing.
