The following subjects are required for modified first grade:
Additional kindergarten-level readers are included to ensure students are not missing any fundamental reading concepts. Students are required to complete all books, which should adequately prepare them for second grade.
Although the first four readers indicate they complement Adventures in Phonics:
Level A, that workbook is not required. Students will receive the necessary phonics skills from Phonics Is Fun: Level 1.
Note: You may, or we might, choose different courses from different grade levels if they are more appropriate for your student. CLASS reserves the right to modify course selection based on achievement test scores, course availability, and previous course assignments.
