Description:
This course focuses on traditional math concepts by using problem-solving strategies, critical thinking, estimation, and mental math. Topics presented include addition and subtraction up to eighteen, place value, addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers up to ninety-nine (with carrying and borrowing), and comparing (“less than” and “greater than”) numbers. In addition, time and money, basic geometric shapes, calendars, measurement, and fractions are also discussed.
