Some of the most important lessons in homeschooling have nothing to do with math or grammar. They happen in the quiet moments when you guide your child’s heart toward kindness, diligence, and faith.
That’s why this week’s Homeschool Morning Basket theme is all about shaping hearts and building habits.
Instead of rushing straight into worksheets, try setting aside a few minutes to focus on character and connection:
- 📖 Read a short devotional or story about kindness, diligence, or obedience.
- ✅ Track simple habits like “I was kind to my sibling” or “I cleaned up my space.”
- 💬 Use conversation cards to talk about faith and feelings. (Try asking, “When do you feel closest to God?”)
- 🙏 Pray together for God’s help to grow in these areas.
