The Studying God’s Word Series is designed to have the student encounter the biblical text firsthand over a 36-week period. The goal of this curriculum is to go beyond the stories of the Bible and to have students read the Bible itself.
Preparing God’s People covers events in the Bible from Creation up through Ruth and Boaz in a chronological order. Students will learn about leading figures, including: Adam and Eve, Noah, Job, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Deborah, Samson, and Ruth. They will also learn how God called His people to the Promised Land and how His people wavered between disobeying God’s commands and repenting for their rebellion.

#10010 Independent Bible Course

Description:
Christian Liberty understands that Christians hold various theological views, not all of which are in agreement with our own. Therefore, we allow families to construct their own independent Bible course if the choices we offer do not meet their needs.
Course Materials:
Families choosing to take our Independent Bible course must use the Holy Bible as their primary text, regardless of what other materials are used. Those selecting this course will receive course instructions stating what CLH requires, as well as what must be submitted in order for a final grade (determined by CLH) to be awarded.
The Independent Bible course may be assigned at each grade level throughout the CLH program.

Description:
This course uses phonics principles as it teaches words with suffixes “-tion” and “-ion,” silent “e” words, word endings, spelling the three sounds of “wh” and “ch,” consonant digraphs with “f” and “ph,” prefixes, compound words, and irregular spellings. Vocabulary-building is emphasized through contextual exercises. Word-bank, crossword, fill-in-the-blank, and other exercises are included to help students gain familiarity with how words and sentences are constructed.
